The High Plains Spring Camporee is held at its permanent home of McArthur’s Farm, north of Bethune, Colorado. The mission of this event is to provide a “back to basics” camping experience for the Scouts & Scouters Pathway to the Rockies Council. This event is held under the large cottonwood trees along the Republican River where Scouts can camp under the stars, sit around an open campfire, and either begin to learn or master basic Scoutcraft skills.
This is a true Advancement Camporee, offering both the First Class Advancement Trail and Merit Badge opportunities, along with the opportunity to attain Brotherhood in the Order of the Arrow. There is a three Scout per troop maximum per merit badge, so please plan accordingly!
